The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.

How We Started

In the summer of 2022, the idea for Senior Tech Connect was sparked by a simple observation: many older adults struggle with basic technology issues, from navigating cell phones to managing emails. What started as a volunteer effort at a senior center in Miami Beach, led by 16-year-old Nick (founder and son of our COO, Angy), quickly grew into a broader mission. This initial visit planted the seed for what would become Senior Tech Connect.

Where We Are Now

Fast forward to 2025, and our mission remains stronger than ever. Senior Tech Connect has become a vital resource for older adults in the counties of San Diego, CA and Miami-Dade, FL. We now offer classes at several independent living facilities, senior centers, and public library branches. It's incredibly fulfilling to see seniors learn new tech skills and become more connected with their loved ones. Knowing that our efforts help them communicate more effectively with friends and family is truly fulfilling.

In under four years, we have trained over 5,000 students (including a few centenarians)! Our journey proves that learning is possible at any age, and we're excited to continue bridging the gap between generations, one tech skill at a time.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults by removing barriers to technology and equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to thrive in today's digital landscape.

Meet the Founders

  • Co-Founder, COO

After a successful 20+ year career in corporate sales and marketing, Angelique co-founded Senior Tech Connect with her 14-year-old son. Drawing on her experience as a community educator volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association, she has a deep understanding of the importance of brain health and lifelong learning as we age. Senior Tech Connect’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens by equipping them with the digital tools and skills needed to thrive in today’s technology-driven world. To date, Angelique and her team in South Florida have empowered over 10,000 seniors with foundational knowledge of smartphone and computer basics, helping them stay connected, confident, and independent.

  • Co-Founder, CEO

After serving in the Marine Corps as a Logistics Officer, Cole was eager to serve in a new way. Cole lost his Grandfather to Parkinson's Disease in 2022, and saw that many burdens quickly shifted to his grandma's shoulders - many of these same burdens centered around technology. Cole became enthused with the idea of supporting older adults through technology education and has never looked back. Cole is a lifelong learner and volunteer with the VA, which has shaped his perspective on Digital Health and patient education related to veterans.
